As a soon to be attorney I really have no problem with the fact that he is still walking free because the people in charge of the investigation cannot make a case. And yes, I believe this even in light of the video tape which people are quick to state is a confession, but is anything but.

The system is intended to work for the innocent and allegedly guilty. However, it just so happens to work better for those with a little more money.
