She was unable to perform on mariah week due to laryngitis but the daily mirror has a video of her sounding in good health just days before the show. so now she is in the center of another controversial row.
Fans of the series are now speculating that the real reason she missed the show was because she would have struggled to perform a Mariah Carey song.
So she is now through to the next weeks show and laura was voted off in the most controversial decisions in X Factor history.21000 people have now signed a petition to bring laura back

earlier in the series another conestant 9cant remember who) had been ill all week yet they still performed, i can understand if she is ill, we all get ill but its not fair on the other contestants, if diana had sung, the outcome may well have been different, showbiz is cutthroat, no 2nd chance 4 laura and diana off 2, dats my opinion, ( but 2 be honest i cant stand da girl so dat is part of it!)

I was surprised that she wasn't up for the vote, even though she couldn't sing that week.
In the end it's a popularity contest, and her fans would no doubt have voted her through to next week.
I mean we've all seen enough of her to guess how she'd have done....
A letter in the Metro on Wednesday morning said her singing certain words (such as "you") resembles Chewbacca mewing.
I say that's a good call.
