More people will watch the President's talks than ever before, and they will post video responses. That's pretty remarkable.

This could be a Great way to connect with people personally & Help them in there lives, people are losing there Job's & Home's Left & Right.
But if He does not respond to the people , it could back fire in His face & people will slam Him hard.
It is possible that The world has a agenda , keep the Money @ the top & hurt & kill the rest as we see in the news with Wall - Street.
If they cont.... on this road it will be devastating , you will have Million's more out there house's & Job's as they study ask for Money for themselves.
Never in world History has the people been Dogged out like this , the people watching Billion's & Trillion's go down the drain as they die & only need a Job to survive.
The next Great event will be War or some sort of natural disaster that more Money will be wheeled out for.
P.S. now they are doing a lot of talking about Helping people after they paid there selves , but in another 6 mths. there will be more damage
Another Million out of Job's & Home's , the domino effect will cont..... said to say.
Well let's wait & see , just do your best to survive. The way it looks that's the way it's going down.!!!!!!!

This is awesome! Young people came out in droves to show their support for Obama, and I'm glad to see he isn't going to lose touch

I think that it was not done before because it was not a president of the people for the people. More like an ego trip for the rich, for the rich, with the rich.

It makes me wonder why this wasn't done already by the sitting president.
What was he afraid of?
More lies on record to add to his horrific legacy?
Wait. I know this one. - 3 years ago

This sounds really cool. Obama's administration is really taking advantage of the internet and technology to communicate and relate to people. It's awesome!

Ilmor,
I could not agree with you more. Once again, he has an opportunity of historic proportion.

What really matters is whether or not he will provide any truly meaningful, factual, useful and unbiased information during these weekly talks. Hopefully, its not the same 'ol Obama egofest "see how great I am" stuff. Also, it will be interesting to see how long this lasts. We shall see...

Taking cues from the great presidents of the past is a good thing for Obama ...
TubeSide chats [as most people would be watching by the tube and not by the fireplace] would be good thing ...
Hope to see it ...

Very cool. Now we'll have record of what gets said to compare it to what actually gets done.

If one looks at the three major network program schedules, aside from sports their lineup is mindless drivel at the low end of the "common denominator". Who save the mindless Bush/Palin crowd watches?
Obama will further erode the dimming power of the mainstream media by employing the internet, and we will all escape the endless blah blah blah from the talking heads that precedes and follows presidential broadcasts. This is good since over half the talking heads were totally wrong this last election cycle and few were mostly correct.
