I think the cameraman or the reporter should have seen what was going on in the background and just moved over a few feet and started the interview over again. I does look like it was made to make her look bad. But lets face it, those turkeys were going to be slaughtered weather she was there or not. All those turkey dinners have to come from somwhere.

The dude in the background was just staring while he was working on that turkey lol!
This couldn't have been done better with sketch comedy writers running the interview. - 3 years ago

It's more in perception I think. If you grow up around something your whole life it doesn't have any shock value for you. So to someone like me that does not usually get to watch animals slaughtered this is a shocking video. But to someone that hunts and slaughters this is probably not shocking at all.

Was it not obvious at the time to her? Did the camera people notice? Could this have been a set-up to, once again, make her look stupid and expose her for something that she is/isn't? Why did no one stop this interview from taking place here or at least say something and question why there were turkeys being slaughtered durring an important interview?

I love Sara Palin she is sexy MILF, what really turns me on everytime I see her with a rifle in her hands, I would like to see her in a bikini with a machine gun.
Thank God for the second amendment of the bill of rights. - 3 years ago

Are you serious? This is an absolute CLANGER. You don't get interviewed on television in front of some guy balefully slaughtering turkeys ... unless you're completely prepared for the onslaught of British political television satire that will shortly be directed at you ...
Also, there's a reason why not everybody's a butcher. In the same way that I'd appreciate my health being taken care of if I were admitted to hospital, but would absolutely wet myself if I had to perform a surgical operation on another person, some people do jobs like slaughtering turkeys and we all reap (eat?) the benefits, but don't necessarily want death and pain and all that gross stuff shoved in our faces.
