How are you coming down off the Obama high

As we bask in the glow of a new President Obama, how are we acting as a nation now that we have all collectively been weened off the high volume of election news. Has it made the current financial sting a bit less scroching and are we all treating each other a bit better .. worth considering.

    • Yep, still hopeful.

      I dont know what Obama can do, but i know what i can....

      I am working to strengthen my community and though i own a business and have had to change my life-style and expenses pretty drastically to accommodate our current economy, i see it all as a good thing.

      Like a fever that finally breaks.

    • I am not yet coming down. I am further propelled upwards by the hilarity of a large part of the right wing's effort to discredit Obama before he's even taken office, rather than getting their own shit, their failed party and ideology, together.

    • This was interesting to read, because despite my excitement on election night, i am already skeptical if Obama himself can really turn this country around.
