I GUESS THEY DIDN'T DO ENOUGH OF A BACKGROUND CHECK.

I applaud this man for his bravery. When you are up against the government, or any government for that matter, you are facing something worse than being on a hit list from some syndicate crime organization.
It seems like governments will break their own rules, sending any protection of innocent people as with the constitutional rules, to the grave and then, say..ooops, yea we did that, now we'll change and correct that. Only to repeat history again! and then oooops....

That is rare, someone in the government that tells the truth, my hat is off to him.

I’ve got a slightly different take on Mr. Tamm’s actions. I agree what he did had to be done. However, by not doing it in such a way as to obfuscate who was the whistleblower, he has effectively doomed the careers of anyone he was associated with. In essence, by not doing a “deepthroat,” his friends, his close coworkers, those who have spoken highly of him, previous superiors, etc. will all have their careers greatly harmed.

Thanks for all the positive comments, Mr. Tamm needs all of our support. The is a citizen matter with our interests in jeopardy. our fundamental constitutional rights.

There seems to be a secret government running things behind closed doors and they don't like being revealed.

Mr. Tamm is a moral man who believes in the truth of Freedom, Liberty, the Pursuit of Happiness and Justice (Good kind of Justice) for all...

As we are evolving I believe we will grow-up from being fearful of one another to more openness by intelligent understanding diplomatic dialogue.

People like Tamm will be the kind of people in charge and we will accomplish task in ways not yet fully comprehended...

I saw his first TV interview on Rachel Maddow's show last night, and he is a real American hero. Charges are coming it's part of hope. Ah the audacity of hope.

Cheers to this man. It takes a great deal of bravery to not only stand up for what you think is right in the face of opposition but when that opposition is the U.S. government that's heroic.
