Does anyone ever bother to notice that the CIA never defends itself? Save to Congress, when they're called on the rug for this or that. Sure, there have been abuses; more than one. But just like our soldiers are far more than what happened at the Army run prison in Iraq, so is the CIA more than the abuses we've read about. The thing is, their successes are classified. Many times they're not even allowed to recognize their own. This doesn't mean they're not effective and for our own sake we better hope they remain so. But rest assured, the CIA does more than taking care of our govt's. dirty work.
