Of course, the knee jerk liberalist's reaction to the song is to assume that Obama is being made fun of. Add that the song is in any way related to republicans and some people's bias prevents them for understanding the song in any way but an attack on president elect Obama. But actually, the song makes fun of the idea of the Magical negro, not Obama.

I just looked it up, while they probably didn't have racist intentions with the song, they're still poking fun of Obama by applying the archetype to him.

If they're making fun of the archetype, then why include Obama, they're certainly no praising him or being neutral. Either way you see this is blatantly offensive. They could be saying that Obama is a magic negro, and apply the stereotype to him, or they could be saying that he's a stereotypical black man trying to help people, or they could be making fun of the concept of a "magic negro." I get the point, you just don't see how it could be offensive.

Republicons like to make fun of poverty, people who work hard for a living, and people who are not white and of Western European heritage.
