The main hospital in Gaza says nearly one third of patients are children. A Palestinian psychologist says he fears for the future of children who are seeing so much suffering. An interesting CNN video looking at how kids are affected by the conflict in Gaza.

      This isn't Genocide, choose your words better. This is retaliation, and if the non combatants in the host country choose life, they had better move their asses.

      This is indeed genocide, it has been genocide for sixty years. What Israel has been doing to the Palestinians absolutely fits the legal definition of genocide.

      The legal definition of genocide

      The international legal definition of the crime of genocide is found in Articles II and III of the 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide.

      Article II describes two elements of the crime of genocide:

      1) the mental element, meaning the "intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such", and

      2) the physical element which includes five acts described in sections a, b, c, d and e. A crime must include both elements to be called "genocide."

      Article III described five punishable forms of the crime of genocide: genocide; conspiracy, incitement, attempt and complicity.
      Excerpt from the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide

      "Article II: In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:

      (a) Killing members of the group;
      (b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
      (c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
      (d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
      (e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.

      Article III: The following acts shall be punishable:

      (a) Genocide;
      (b) Conspiracy to commit genocide;
      (c) Direct and public incitement to commit genocide;
      (d) Attempt to commit genocide;
      (e) Complicity in genocide. "

    • Sometimes it seems like the world waits for someone else to step in and solve their problems for them.

      Every diplomat has tried to make peace in the middle east but it just isn't happening. Peace has to be wanted by the people involved. Today one side may want peace, but both don't. Hamas would not renew the peace agreement from Egypt. (shrug)

      America doesn't even have peace on her streets. We have problems like any other country. Maybe less in some places, and more in others.

      But we can't be the World Police. I don't know why people expect that.

    • We keep dedicating images to show our concern to all the innocent victims of the Gaza war, and to their families on both sides of the wall.
      For the loss of innocence of the children, the orphaned and for the parents who have lost their children, may their be healing.

      So they know.... They are not forgotten!
      I hope one day they know people in America did care.

    • No I haven't, but moving to a camp 5 miles from town might make sense. THEY HAVE TO STEP UP!!! And quit using their children as pawns. Assassinate Hamas themselves!! Cowboy justice. Is it so hard to see? If they would put and end to it, it would be ended. Sometimes you have to fight when your a man. 100 of them could rush 20 hamas, it would be easy, after the first couple of engagements, those Hamas pussies would run for cover.

      I bet you are a giant pussy. Only giant pussies think the real world resembles a Rambo picture. You would lose your mind in a war zone. If you want to be an armchair general I suggest you stick to call of duty.

      what is wrong with you people? do you think that its some little playground over there where you can just leave if you want to?? What do you think the palestinians were doing when they were living in Jordan? They have no where to go. They are now a landless people who the Israelis would completely exterminate if it weren't for the public outcry.

      How did the American settlers do it in the Indain wars, horse and wagon if need be. They have strength in numbers, they just refuse to act, unless it means killing a jew, then they will even strap a bomb to their babies if necessary. Tough Love, that is what they need. And they are getting that from Israel.
