The Illinois House of Representatives on Friday voted almost unanimously to impeach Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

The vote was 114-1, with three representatives not voting.

The case now moves to the state Senate where a two-thirds vote is required to remove the governor from office.

    • my instinct is to condemn him for his corrupt actions yet i am curious as to the hard evidence against him. i hope congress is not jumping to a guilty sentence for the sake of "safety first"

i'm sure though that they have a complete, thorough case against him. i simply an uneducated about the circumstances.
