The Humiliation of America

Image

“Early Friday morning the secretary of state was considering bringing the cease-fire resolution to a UNSC vote and we didn’t want her to vote for it,” Olmert said. “I said ‘get President Bush on the phone.’ They tried and told me he was in the middle of a lecture in Philadelphia. I said ‘I’m not interested, I need to speak to him now.’ He got down from the podium, went out and took the phone call.”

"Let me see if I understand this,” wrote a friend in response to news reports that Israeli Prime Minister Olmert ordered President Bush from the podium where he was giving a speech to receive Israel’s instructions about how the United States had to vote on the UN resolution. “On September 11th, President Bush is interrupted while reading a story to school children and told the World Trade Center had been hit–and he went on reading. Now, Olmert calls about a UN resolution when Bush is giving a speech and Bush leaves the stage to take the call. There exists no greater example of a master-servant relationship.”

    • Not only is Bush et al a shame and a disgrace to America, so are our leaders who are permitting Israeli Lobbyists and AIPAC to dictate our government. Americans have fought too many wars , and too many of our young have died to guarantee our independence seperate from Europe and any other nation. We are a people of laws. So it is late and time to dump Israel and any other nation hell bent on controlling us and our way of life. We are as guilty as Israel for the long and brutal war. How can an intelligent nation permit the bloodshed as in GAZA, or are we just puppets of the Jews and the Israeli lobby. You dont have to be anti semetic to hate the war and what these people are doing to commit mass genocide and ethnic cleansing. I was thinking that the Jews are victims too but since 94% support killing the Palestinians off, my feeling have changed. I hope the world will join together to make the Jews accountable for the pain and suffering for the past fifty years in this part of the middle east. But in Palestine and in the USA those who die in useless barbaric battles of the ambitious globalists cannot be brought back to life and so the people responsible for the wars just go to bed as if the deaths of all the men women and children who die as a result of their struggle for power are no different that a worm or a parasite to be trampled on. Life is cheap to ambitious corporations and globalists and the secret societies who thrive on the misery of the masses.

    • Agence France-Presse reports that the first person killed when the Israeli military began to enter Gaza on Saturday was a Palestinian child.

On Sunday, a Palestinian woman and her four children were blown to pieces when Israeli warplanes bombed their home. They are among the 521 victims (at the time of this writing) of the ongoing air and ground assault on the Gaza Strip by a 9,000 strong force, which the Israeli government has launched on one of the most densely populated tracts of land in the world, home to 1.5 million Palestinians, half of them under 17 years of age.

    • There is no such thing as a decent politician. I support Obama because I am counting on him to make good on his promises, but I do not delude myself into thinking he wont make any personal gain. As long as the country is good and free, then his personal gain makes no difference to me. Bush not only gained personally, but wiped his filthy ass with our Constitution so many times it is permenantly blackened. This country will win a great victory when Bush the Terrorist is behind bars. If Obama pardons him, then Obama will show his true colors as no better than Bush. Time will tell and show the truth.

    • The UN building in southern Gaza City was rocked by several explosions. Officials said munitions were fired after the UN had repeated warnings to the Israel army it was a civilian location.

    • America supply Israel with money and armaments and condones its war crimes by holding up the decision of the UN .
Today Israel decided to tell the UN what it thought of it.
      Arrogance. Genocide.

Israel said it was taking care to avoid harming civilians and blamed Hamas militants for hiding among the ordinary Palestinian population.

    • V. your words roll off my back. Most people here have your take on things so I could care less about your tooth fairy comments or any others. Btw, we call them PERMANENT teeth. My mother was wise and did not go for such silliness. Its a waste of time we are even discussing it .

      Ragan:
You don't have to be against Bush AND believe in 9/11 Conspiracy Theory. It is not either/or btw. This is a place for people to agree to disagree. I was responding to the response he showed on 9/11. Looking to that reaction as a basis of conspiracy is loony. If you knew the planes were going to crash, wouldn't YOU act surprised and shocked? So you wasted your breath trying to show me how wrong I am since I disagree with him on 98% of issues. JFK was killed by a nutcase. I was in high school and will never forget it. It was investigated to death. Everyone wants to see some kind of theory behind everything. A nut killed him, a nut assassinated MLK, and another got Lennon. And we better pray , if we are so inclined, that there is NOT a conspiracy of White Supremacists trying to get Obama.

As long as there is governments anywhere, they will have some secret meetings. In WW2, people learned about what was happening in news reels in the movie theatre...no where else for security reasons Now everyone thinks they have the right to every single tidbit of information which is good up to a point.
On current you see people whining about what obama smokes,, what kind of dog he buys, and already hate him before he crosses the threshold of the Oval Office People are so far right or left. I occupy the center. And proud of it.

Actually, V was right in calling your deciduous, or first set of teeth, milk teeth. Its a common term. She wasn't saying you lost your permanent teeth by the age of two, but that you lost your deciduous ones.
She has a point, as well - you don't really start to lose your first set of teeth until about age six, so why would you be involved in any way with the Tooth Fairy mythos at age two?

Regarding your posts about Bush, seriously, get help. You're an island of irrationality in a sea of reason. The man has been a puppet from day one - just ask Karl Rove or Dick Cheney. Not excusing himself when he heard the news, calmly or otherwise, shows bad judgement on his part at best, and complicit involvement at the worst. Nobody expected him to freak out, but to just sit there like nothing happened was a piss-poor response no matter what he was doing.

    • Babbara1d....Are you the tooth fairy? If you think so much of this incompetent Jackass, please show some respect for the office he shamed for eight years. If there were a set of decent peoples running our country they would have sacked him and sent him to the funny farm. How can you explain to the fathers and mothers and wives and sons and daughters that their father was killed fighting George Bush's war. This office of jackals, Im talking about Congress gave him a free ticket to wreak havoc on the world. They also gave him a blank check so that he could bankrupt America. And where did all of this money go? No one knows, but it seems that millionaires and billionaires blossomed out. At no time in the history of the world has a government created such a cancerous mess in the world. It is the intent of a certain group of people to take control of Eurasia and he was the babe in arms who made a stab at taking over only the people fought back killing and destroying not only American lives but thousands of innocent Iraqi lives. Now anyone who is a party to these war mongers who love to create war just as a sideline business for profit you are no better that one of the criminals. The hide behind secret societies and secret meetings and they offer advice to our leaders. They are called think tanks but they are dangerous. Some call them conspirator theorys. But JFK died for a conspiracy theory and many more have died and will die for conspiracy theories. Conspiracy theorists at least question the truth of Government.

    • You are the one believing in the tooth fairy. I sort of figured that one out when I was 2y/o.

Tooth Fairies are another "conspiracy theory" passed on to little children along with Santa , Snow White, and the Big Bad Wolf.

I am impressed that you went all the way to Photo Bucket to make such a silly point.

"He did not want to alarm people! Any leader worth his salt would remain calm, and excuse himself, and get a handle on things. If you knew more about how the government works, you would know that any President will be "advised" by the Security experts in the Cabinet. Should he have stood up and yelled "Fire"!!! Yes, then he would look like he cared."

You merely help my assertion of his handling of the situation on 9/11

"Any leader worth his salt would remain calm, and excuse himself, and get a handle on things"- so you admit he is a terrible leader if at all

"you would know that any President will be "advised" by the Security experts in the Cabinet. Should he have stood up and yelled "Fire"!!! Yes, then he would look like he cared."- and if he had listened to his "advisers" he would have taken proper precautions against the information stating that osama bin laden was leading an attack against the united states, and was planning to have the WTC towers as a target.

maybe you took off your tin foil a little too soon and didn't tune into the facts. go research some more obama-zombie. you better throw on that tin-foil hat real quick before you can't block out the calls for "civil service" anymore.

What an infantile response. Are you trying to tell us that you lost your milk teeth before you were two years old? My point wasn't silly, and you know it. Your responses, on the other hand, are the epitome of silly.

      I guess you're a coincidence theorist...

      Grow up, lassie.

it is the very fact that our greatest "ally" makes jokes about our leader to appeal to his public. we are a farce of a nation. everyone around us knows it and the jokes on us. that's the point this article and I was trying to make. it's sad really

    • Remember conspiracy theories are just "theories".

He did not want to alarm people! Any leader worth his salt would remain calm, and excuse himself, and get a handle on things. If you knew more about how the government works, you would know that any President will be "advised" by the Security experts in the Cabinet. Should he have stood up and yelled "Fire"!!! Yes, then he would look like he cared.

Thanks for all the nice links . But I gave up my tin-foil hat so I wouldn't hear the voices anymore. Go tune in! I live in reality and I know how bad government is and you will soon see...YES WE CAN! "Change" uh, business as usual. Get ready to gear up for some new theories to waste your time on.

    • This is such a stupid point. Let me explain. When 9/11 happened, as with any security issue for the President for the USA:

      1. Stay where you are until we get the BIG plane. You know, the one with the red buttons and bullet proof windows?

      2. Get on the plane when we tell you to and ask no questions. Then you get briefed.

Its all about security for the leader when we think we are under attack. Of course its easy to look back and be an armchair quarterback.

Maybe, just maybe, it was so horrific, he did not want to alarm the little children. Imagine that. If he had gotten up, ran around like a chicken with his head cut off, he would be criticized as well.

Someone said last night on tv..."I wonder what the Bush-haters will do now, where will they put all their hate?" I say some are already unloading it on Obama before he walks through the front door!

It is easy to come on here and say "Stop Hating!" So look at yourself in the mirror and ask "who do I hate and why... and is it productive or just feeding me?"

i always find it hilarious when everyone says "what do you expect him to do run around like a chicken with his head cut off". No. i expected him to act like a leader. to excuse himself and get a handle on the situation. then gauge whether or not to finish reading a book. and if you think excusing yourselves form little kids traumatizes them go work at a day care. leave and they erally could care less.

Oh and BTW, before you continue to act as if bush had no indication that planes were going to attack the US i suggest you do some reasearch and truly discover how corrupt this country is now. i'll suggest a few starters. Vincent bugliosi, Bilderberg, Council of foreign relations, AIPAC. those are just a few. start down the rabbit hole and keep going till you find whats on the other side.

What Bush did not explain is how America is respected when its people put a moron in charge for eight years."
