    • Some people and their moral crusades and reactionary panic attacks.

The most sensible thing for me to do in response to some of these posts is a chunky line.

I bid you good day :)

    • ok, nobody is talking about where the "dealers" are getting their "K" from?
They are breaking into small veterinary offices and stealing it. Most of these are small businesses. They are not breaking into large veterinary hospitals. So when you take your cat or dog to the vet, don't gripe about the bill. Also taken into account how many people don't even pay their bill.
So while everyone is talking about their memories of their k-hole, just remember that these are small businesses that are paying for your fun.
One more thing, spay or neuter your animals, seriously...

    • Safest drug known to man? How is that? That after taking it all you can do is lie there so no chance of driving or performing any harmful activity? Ket is the drug of choice looking to completely escape reality and their own skull.

They're close if not the same thing. Testing kits are really cheap. If you scrape some of a pill off into one and it turns dark purple quickly then it's MDxx.

Also there's online resources like blue light and pill reports where yu can search for pills by shape, color and logo in your area to read other people's first hand accounts of their experiance on that particular pill. (I invested in a kit after PMA started hitting the streets here in FL and killing kids...I still won't touch a mitsubishi pill)

I won't do a pill if it isn't MDMA or something close, it's always the ebst to know the effects and the reasonable doasge for what you want to do beforehand, it's the only way to be safe really because you can never trust a dope man with knowing what you're taking. Ever.

You are right about the asocial aspect. One person I knew who was using it became a near recluse. He had been extremely successful, and he lost almost everything: his savings, his house, his girlfriend. It all went. All he could think about and care about was his K.

    • Humans ...
I believe Ketamine isn't the last drug for people.
They'll be more and more chemical that humans
would love to try and get addicted to.

The thing is that it is very easy to find those drugs these days.

    • Special K does some ridiculous things to horses let alone when humans ingest the TRANQUILIZER. While in Perugia, Italy this past summer, the drug was running rampant in the streets as well as the people on it. I know from experience that at a majority of the music festivals "K" is a very popular drug to get down on. Many people are frequently in "K Holes" and it is very obvious, quite amusing to see none the less.

Stay away from the Special K

    • I've heard K was alright but honestly, I've never had the urge to try too many things. I'm a proud pot smoker and I love to get my hands on some mushrooms now and then. I also like to drink coffee and alcohol in moderation, that's about it.

    • When kids cant get real drugs, some start raiding the medicine cabinet.

If your kid is stealing your painkillers, just give the kid a joint. At least he/she wont be screwing themselves up with prescription medicine.

Pothead kid > Oxycontin junkie kid. Trust me on that one.

Not always true. Every kid in highschool seemed to have access to pills and yayo.

You could just walk down the hall way and ask for what you're looking for, someone had it or could get it.

I honestly don't know what made us all cool with it. I think it's because we were drilled from a young age not to do it and when we started trying things like weed we realized that the people who warned us about drugs were full of shit so we quit thinking anything about it.

The war on drugs is a joke and dealers and cops are the only ones that don't want it to end.

    • Every couple of years there is a surge of ketamine use reported...nothing new. Like fashion certain drugs go in and out of style every couple of years.

Last years coke is this years ketamine.

No shit, I had a similar experiance at a rave. I thought I was snorting MDMA (it was out of a gel capsule). I just ended up sitting against the wall. Eveyone kept trying to give me lightshows and I was just like "go away".

Later I tried Ketamine and realized that's what it was.

I personally don't like it that much but I know people who do.

    • a. so... i'm not one to suggest that *everybody* should do anything... but I will vouch for the quality of this particular substance...

      b. I've used lots of psychoactives and this is one of the best 'reset' drugs i've ever ingested.

well... i'm not a psychopharmacologist, so take this with a grain of salt:

if you consider your psychological 'moment' as a mix of chemistries and thoughts in your head and any given instant...

and if you consider depression as a series of moments that are a cascading event, one minor thing leading to another minor thing, etc...

and if you consider a depression as a series of moments that's caused by the cascade of events and also by a cascade of chemistry in the head...

then consider how an Asthma inhaler works... rather than stopping the whole cascade of Asthma chemistry in your body, it merely interrupts the cascade of reactions in your blood and lungs and brain that cause constriction and anxiety. The interruption only happens in one place.

So a 'reset drug' would be a drug that interrupts the moments of depression. Since K is a disassociative, there are ways to administer it that leave your mind very very conscious, but totally isolated from 'reality'... like a waking dream state, where you're experiencing conversations and movement and thoughts, and are also able to sort out difficulties at work/school/etc as if you're dreaming through them...

When you come back from your trip (60 minutes later), your mind is refreshed like you wouldn't believe. I'm not saying that you should go drive a car, or try to do your diff.eq homework or anything like that... but psycologically speaking, it's a serious improvement.

The positive effects linger after the drug effects wear off, because you've interrupted the depression cascade and you have taken some time to be conscious of your thoughts, without being overwhelmed by them... so you've reset the cascade, and you've got a better chemistry/mood in your head for dealing with the real world.

Disclaimer: I don't think the 'reset' would work without a ritual of use... you couldn't just say 'i'm depressed, so i'm going to inject myself with ketacet...' And just like any other 'ritual' it should be done in the presence of a 'shaman' for safety (spiritual and otherwise)
