Gaza is a concentration camp, Israeli official promised a holocaust in Gaza

Image
WorldPeaceTV
Gaza is an immense concentration camp -- 1.5 million people squeezed into 140 square miles hemmed in on all sides by 25-foot-high walls separated by a vast expanse of bulldozed earth. The 2005 "pull-out" left Gaza still controlled by Israel from air and sea, its entries and exits prisonlike mazes electronically controlled and under constant surveillance. Bombing it, assaulting it with tanks and Uzis, is like shooting animals in a pen. The claptrap about "pinpoint" accuracy and "avoiding civilians" is a lie so flagrant, so transparent, that any child -- certainly any Gaza child -- could grasp it.
There have been eight military assaults on Gaza since 2004; blockades started in 2005, and then a siege of medieval proportions in 2006, punishment for Gazans' having elected the wrong party for Israel and its U.S. patron. By December 2008, Richard Falk, special rapporteur on the Occupied Territories for the United Nations, reported an overall Gaza malnutrition rate of 75 percent, a childhood anemia rate of 46 percent and a devastated infrastructure. For more, see Richard Falk's "Understanding the Gaza Catastrophe." here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/richard-falk/understanding-the-gaza-ca_b_154777.ht...

This latest war -- called Operation Cast Lead -- is the "holocaust" promised by Israel's Deputy Defense Minister Matan Vilnai last spring when he said Israel would create a shoa if Qassem rockets kept dropping on Israeli towns like Sderot. Shoa, Hebrew for holocaust, is a serious word denoting the extermination of an entire people. Vilnai embarrassed the Israeli government, and no official has used the term since.

You question 1.5 million Palestinians live in Gaza.

My source as you can see from the piece and Link I posted is award winning journalist Jonathan Cook.......an American from OHIO...whom is the only western journalist living in Gaza. Much more reliable information than those who murder and use propaganda. PLEASE...NEVER LET ME SEE THOSE PEOPLE EVER.

    • PROOF THAT IT IS PROPAGANDA

DEREK901 ....you posted a fake photo.

You posted a photo, perhaps you believe it is genuine, but I think it is not. The reason I believe it is a fake is that Israel is in power in Gaza and then how would they have a group of hooded Palestinians around a young Israeli boy and patting him on the head. They would be dead before the photo was taken.....a photo so clearly posed that the kid is looking at the camera lens and for the photo shoot they are standing around so that the picture can be taken to best advantage.
I am a print and photo journalist and radio presenter.....don't insult my intelligence with that photo.
It looks suspiciously posed with Israelis in fancy dress.

    • Israeli Assault Injures 1.5
      Million Gazans
      By Jonathan Cook

      http://www.countercurrents.org/cook160109.htm

This week the death toll in Gaza passed the 1,000 mark, after nearly three weeks of Israeli air and ground attacks. But surprisingly, no one has reported an even more appalling statistic: that there are some 1.5 million injured Palestinians in Gaza. How is is possible that such an astounding figure could have passed the world’s media by?

The overwhelming majority of Hamas' home-made rockets land in the desert, a few have made some minor damage, and a small number have actually killed all of twelve Israelis, mostly Israeli soldiers. Your argument is moot.

Would you run away and leave your wife and children if Israel was lobbing White Phosphorous BOMBS in the direction of your loved ones.....and the ground soldiers were on the way with guns?

Tell me....would you stay or would you run?

I know I'd stay. If i had a gun I'd use it too. Would you?

    • hey so maybe you morons should actually try to read instead of taking what the bullshit American media spoon feeds you for once. Gaza is in ruins because of Hamas. there is no way around it. Since Hamas took power they have not even attempted to better the living situation of their people. Their single goal is the destruction of Israel. They have used their own people as a pawn to fight Israel.

Israel on the other hand has clearly stated their yearning for peace even if it takes a two state solution. Meanwhile Hamas continues to use the little amount of money they have to buy or make weapons to use against Israel instead of building infrastructure and developing a real education system for their youth.

Hamas has one goal. to destroy Israel. Any country has the right to defend itself against such radical movements. If you dont believe that any other nation would have done the same thing then you are clearly ignorant to everything.

and Israel did not break the most recent ceasefire. Infact Hamas started shooting rockets into Israel during the ceasefire but Israel tried to keep it for some time. But you would not know because you only read what the mind-controlling American media gives you.

SO... grow up you children. Stop trying to be the awesome liberal who always fights for the underdog and do it old school... research and read the truth

    • GIVE THE PEOPLE WATER, and food, and freedom, and self determination. Let them then use it to build up their country and be responsible for their own destiny. Hating and blowing them up surely is not helping this situation at all. Although, now after the Israeli government blew everything to kingdom come there what is left? Maybe people on either side wouldn't teach their children to hate if others didn't propagate it. People are dying due to lack of medical attention and in the case of Gaza, it has not had sufficient and potable water resources for YEARS. You hold any people hostage without water long enough and they WILL react. But I suppose to haters that is simply too far beyond their ability to understand.

All civilians living in Gaza are collectively guilty for Kassam attacks on Sderot, former Sephardi chief rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu has written in a letter to Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.

Eliyahu ruled that there was absolutely no moral prohibition against the indiscriminate killing of civilians during a potential massive military offensive on Gaza aimed at stopping the rocket launchings.
      ..
      ..
      ..

"If they don't stop after we kill 100, then we must kill a thousand," said Shmuel Eliyahu. "And if they do not stop after 1,000 then we must kill 10,000. If they still don't stop we must kill 100,000, even a million. Whatever it takes to make them stop."

In the letter, Eliyahu quoted from Psalms. "I will pursue my enemies and apprehend them and I will not desist until I have eradicated them."

Eliyahu wrote that "This is a message to all leaders of the Jewish people not to be compassionate with those who shoot [rockets] at civilians in their houses."

    • More of the hundreds of hours of
Hamas terrorists using children as human shields

      for Palestinian terrorists:

      1. Killing Israeli children = their gola
      2. Dead Arab children = equal great PR photos for the global Jihad of media manipulation - the bloodier and more mangled the bodies, the better.

Horrific. But more than that, it's sad.

    • Some Differences Between Hamas and the Nazi Party"

"The Hamas founding covenant explicitly calls for the extermination of all Jews. Hitler never made total extermination an official plank of the the Nazi party platform. (see Holocaust scholar Omar Bartov's article in the February 2, 2004 issue of The New Republic. He points to the extermiationist [sic] 7th article of the founding Hamas covenanat [sic] which cites the Hadith (saying of the prophet). Here is a translation of the Hadith in a deeply disturbing summary of Hamas' exterminationist anti-semitism by the Brown University scholar Andrew Bostom:

"'The Prophet, Allah's prayer and peace be upon him, says: "The hour of judgment shall not come until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them, so that the Jews hide behind trees and stones, and each tree and stone will say: 'Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him,' except for the Gharqad tree, for it is the tree of the Jews." (Sahih Muslim, Book 41, Number 6985)'

"In other words, Hamas is not committed merely to the political goal of expelling Jews from the land of Israel but to what they believe is a sacred religious goal of exterminating all Jews everywhere behind every tree in creation. (I'm not pinning any hopes on "the Gharqad tree"). I'd suggest those who deceive themselves into believing Hamas is just another Palestinian rights group, maybe a little on the extreme side, read the whole Bostom article. The exterminationist anti-semitism of Hamas is more excessive than Hitler's.

      "So that's one difference."

    • Prisoners are FORCED INTO a concentration camp. Not a single person was forced in to Gaza. Secondly, the Gazans were free to do anything they wanted, to build any kind of society they wanted--after Israel abandoned Gaza. Yet they never chose to live peacefully with Israel. Thirdly, nothing is stopping Egypt from taking in their fellow Arabs, these so-called Palestinians. The truth is that the surrounding Arab countries, such as Jordan, Egypt, and Lebanon, don't want the so-called Palestinians in their country.

And what of the example of the West Bank? Where the so-called Palestinians are living quietly?

Not true - try to get your facts right. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were herded and forced into Gaza by Israel after Israelis chased them out of their towns, villages, farms, and homes. As for the West Bank, the Palestinians are harrassed, oppressed, often killed, are cut off from their fields, have their homes destroyed, more and more of their land stolen, etc., by the Israelis and the illegal Israeli settlers.

Gaza is nothing but a concentration camp and what is going on is nothing but "Genocide" poorly disguised as "self-defense".

You would think as one of the few peoples in this world to have experienced Genocide they would not try and impose such a horrible thing on other people. But how quickly some forget...

What Israel is doing is nothing but cold blooded murder. there has to be an end to this.. I just hope its a peaceful end. seeing these children killed each day is not an answer . Shame on both sides for this war.. Both sides need to come to an agreement before this can end , without any more blood shed. I could not imagine living everyday in fear for my life as well as my family. Its sad to come on here and see the faces of death each day. I have spoken to a very good friend in Gaza, Each day I encourage him to keep his head up. He is so exhusted from starvation that he is ready to give up. we the people need to encourage the people of Gaza to not give up. thats what Israel wants . They want full control of Gaza.. How many more will die at the hands of bullies. Peace to all .

    • This quote was posted on a South African web site by an anglican minister who was in Gaza last week

"This, in my opinion, is just another confirmation that Israel is attempting a genocide. If Palestinians are not killed by weapons, or driven out by fear, they are to be starved out by the blockade of Gaza and the destruction of relief food supplies.
The IDF says it told residents of Gaza to evacuate the city. Where would people go? The Gaza Strip is 12 kms wide by 145 km long. . Furthermore, 25 000 people in the Strip have so far lost their homes and been displaced. (See Al Jazeera on-line) There is nowhere to go.
It is inconceivable that anyone can still think that the IDF invasion of Gaza is justified. This is no attempt to stop Hamas rocket fire. It is an attempt to remove a whole population."

I think there can be no doubt following the last attacks that Israel can now join the ranks of those countries that have practiced genocide on others. It particularly humbling when one considers that they were originally on the other side of the list and should know better

I just cant believe that after what was done to jews, they would turn around and do the same thing to someone else.

Hamas needs to go down, but not like this, and if Israel wasnt keeping Palestinians down and taking their land (and many other things) there wouldnt even be a group called Hamas. Hamas was created because of the occupation, and many other things, and lets not forget who helped Hamas at the beggining when it started to get started, ISRAEL, to make it easier to divide Palestinians.

Don't you realize, for one, that 11 million people were killed in the genocide, 6 million jews and 5 million gays, catholics, and dissenters? I don't have the time to teach you history or what is right, so I can only hope that time will show you the truth, and you will get over your antiquated and horribly discriminatory point of view.

    • Oh, I agree with that yoni (and siberianrat)..and, when I ask the "Israeli Right" this question, a fair one at that, they NEVER answer! Here it is again for those that wanna give it a shot...I'm open to debate, here it is:

Whats your response to Israel choking off the mostly innocent population of all those life sustaining supplies before the invasion/war and tightening the 'choke' during the cease fire? Like I said above, this IS an act of war for Israel to do this, its all outlined in the United Nations and Geneva Convention. ANY country that is cut off of supplies like that, is in fact, under siege AND is considered an act of war.

Does Israel have carte blanc to not obey International Laws? I think not!

You guys never answer those questions...we're supposed to be debating, and I put up serious, documented proof that Israel started this whole thing. The only answers I see here are propaganda and cartoons that are supposed to be funny.

My analogy I've put up clearly demonstrates this..the analogy being:

What if someone locked you in a room with no food, no lights, no water and no medications or first aid supplies?

      What would YOU do?

I know what I would do, and that would be to tunnel out, disable the person locking me up, anything that would make me survive.

This is what Israel did to a population of 1, 500,000 people DURING the cease fire. Israel never respected the cease fire and collectively punishes over one and half million innocent people.

Now, Please answer the question...I'd like to see your response to that analogy at least.

    • This latest war -- called Operation Cast Lead -- is the "holocaust" promised by Israel's Deputy Defense Minister Matan Vilnai last spring when he said Israel would create a shoa if Qassem rockets kept dropping on Israeli towns like Sderot. Shoa, Hebrew for holocaust, is a serious word denoting the extermination of an entire people. Vilnai embarrassed the Israeli government, and no official has used the term since.

"Take some kittens … in a box. Seal up the box, then jump on it with all your weight and might, until you feel their little bones crunching, and you hear the last muffled little mew," a surgeon named Jamal tells Italian writer Vittorio Arigoni. Bloodstained boxes are fetched; Jamal opens one. It contains "amputated limbs, legs and arms, some from the knee down, others with the entire femur attached . . . from the injured at the Al Fakhura United Nations school in Jabalia, which resulted in more than 50 casualties."

Jamal says, "Israel trapped hundreds of civilians inside a school as if in a box, including many children, and then crushed them with all the might of its bombs. What were the world's reactions? Almost nothing. We would have been better off as animals rather than Palestinians. We would have been more protected."
