people just have to accept that the world of science and natural biology are strange things to behold! this story is entirely possible even if the sun have made it up but that doesn't make the concept any less important
... rite?

Well if she was pregnant, maybe this was her form of birth control. But that also has to be very unhealthy for her.

I know of at least one woman--an aunt now deceased--who back in the really bad old days pre-1950s America had to carry the “baby” to what would’ve been term before having it removed. Whether that was done or an abortionist or midwife took care of things I don’t know. I wasn’t around then. But that was the gist of it heard from my late father and I’m not even sure her two surviving children-- my cousins-- know the story and I certainly would not mention it to them. From what I understand my aunt’s personality changed as she never recovered psychologically after that and who knows what physical damage was done.
This kind of thing was no doubt common before reproductive rights that the bible-barfing theocratic fanatics would gladly like to destroy for many reasons: exerting power over women; pushing their rightwingnutjob medieval agenda; pushing their covert agenda that sees abortions as a threat to interests benefiting from a cheap labor pool, etc. . More stories like these should be told before the pre-choice generation is gone.
Creeps like Randall Terry and Jay Sekulow must be stopped cold every time their creepy faces appear in public.

"prechoice"
please.
you mean, prelegalization?
people have been killing unwanted children for ever. now we can do it legally. but it is still killing.
now we can do it before everyone can look at little Mary Beth and comment on how she has her mother's nose or her auntie's cheeks. but little Mary Beth is just as dead as if her mother had taken a pessary offered by a Roman physician 2200 years ago, as dead as if she were left exposed out on a stony Greek hillside 2300 years ago.

Aw man, its from the Sun, how the hell can we even begin to trust that?
This is ridiculous, even if it was true, there is zero validity.
These are the same people that say UFOs attack wind turbines... or was it a crash? I don't remember, it was ridiculous nonetheless.
If there's a better source for this, please post it, this would be really cool if it were true.

It probably turned into a stone baby. When a woman has a miscarriage that they don't know about, often the fetus calcifies and turns into this.

This cant be true!!! If this woman did carry a still fetus for 60yrs it would cause a massive infection...i'm sorry...it's called spontaneous miscarriage/abortion expulsion of a nonviable fetus from the uterus. The body would do this to protect itself. You would also think the fetus would docompose inside the uterus? Come on after 60yrs....really....
