The book doesn’t exist. As for Saturday Review, there were four issues in August of 1967. Two of the four editions contained a page 76. One of the pages 76 contains classified ads and the other contained a review of the Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s album. No King letter anywhere.

Yet its lack of authenticity hasn’t prevented it from having a long shelf-life. Not only does it pop up in the Schneier book, but sections of it were read by the Anti-Defamation League’s Michael Salberg in testimony before a House Subcommittee in July of 2001, and all manner of pro-Israel groups (from traditional Zionists to right-wing Likudites, to Christians who support ingathering Jews to Israel so as to prompt Jesus’ return), have used the piece on their websites.

if you want people to take your claims seriously, perhaps you should start taking them seriously yourself and not diminish them with all manner of dubiousness.

i never once claimed to be impartial. but it is something i would expect from reputable news sources. despite my personal bias, i'm not interested in propaganda, even if it reinforces my own views.

I had read at some time that the content was not the same. Had anyone else? It is very different for English vs. Arab content.

I did find this when trying to answer that question for myself.. I learned along the way that the channels are independent and that they don't share specifically the same news stories. So the information is different.

This is their mission, but I don't know how this applies to kids..

Al Jazeera certainly is better than some of the national western news channels (especially CNN), although the international channels are usually of higher quality.
But facts are irrelevant when it comes to politics as everybody knows.

This is only my personal experience. I had to rely upon an interpretor when watching the channel (I was on a business trip).

From my experience, kuffar is actually correct. However, perhaps it was an unusual day as far as broadcast content (not likely), perhaps my interpretor lied (not likely).

Just my experience.

Amierican News networks are self serving, profit driven wastelands... I know nothing about Al Jazeera other than what the American News networks feed us...

I was very surprised at how misinformed some of the people who watch current are. If you consider yourself to be globally media savvy then you would know that Al-Jazeera is a fairly reputable media source. In fact I would say that Fox news puts an anti-arab focus on everything, which makes people like you associate everything that is from the middle east with terrorism. Do some research before you make comments like that. Those videos that were posted in response in this article were produced in Iran, not by Al-Jazeera. And look up the statistics of how much content Fox news produces for its self. Did you know pundits like Bill O'Reilly used to get talking points directly from the white house? What kind of objective journalism is that? Plus I am a patriot, I love America, but the American people are being turned into ignorant racists by the mainstream media. American media is a joke.
