    • "And, um.... always hide your good coke from your Dad, or he'll steal it all and forget to read important national security memos, like ours did... Oh yeah, remember that one, Jenna? That was a sucky day..."

    • Anyone that seriously believes that George W Bush made this country SAFER is completely delusional.

If you joined the military and are insulted because people speak the truth about the fraudulent mission you were sent on, that's your problem.

      Nobody made you join.

The problem is, war is evil, war is murder for profit. If you're really pissed, maybe you should apply for a job where you don't have to go around killing people for Haliburton's share prices.

      PEACE

You've never gotten drunk or taken drugs?

      Sure.

however, this was not about someone you know. You don't know their father. Who you know is who you created via your news watching. Who they know is their father and that letter was very good in explaining that and telling them to protect themselves from people like you.

    • Hey Bush Twins... I got news for you... Your dad likes to kill innocent people, start unnecessary wars, plunder the environment and our country... That's who he really is

    • I think it's quite sweet, though a pity it doesn't fit in with the Bush twins' reality - getting drunk at parties back in Austin..

    • I have a terrible secret, I voted for Bush twice..... it seemed like a good idea at the time, but now I am ashamed to admit that he was a blemish on Texas. I now fully understand why the Dixie Chicks said they were ashamed he was from Texas.

What advice can those Bush girl give? Nothing useful, the twins were living in Austin and did not accompany their parents to the white house. They were busy practicing under age drinking.

And the Obama children have their mother to help them, give me a break they're 10 and 7.
Now if they were 20 and 17 that would be different.
I think that just wanted in on the press talking about them.

    • it gives a perspective of bush as a dad. we all have different facets. this does put a positive spin among the recent negative press. I dont know if bush twins thought to do it themselves or if their pr people came up with it. whatever it is i hope they are saying it sincerely. of course still bush the politician is an entirely a different facet. all of us take on various different roles or titles throughout the day as a person. thus need to look at all aspects objectively - hopefully without letting one influence the other.

    • awuh; well i think that was sweet,
although the girls are a bit older than Obamas..
they still know what it's like
being a "child" in the White House...

i give 'em props for putting this together,
like a sort of welcome to the girls.

    • I think this was very nice. I agree with what they say about doing everything they can. I would love to be able to do everything that they will have a chance to do.

    • Why are we paying attention to the Obama's children? Are they going to be making major decisions for our country? O thats right there not even past ten yet, there not even allowed to die for their country yet. It just makes me sick, granted it was a nice letter from Bush's daughters, still...

    • Give advice? The way they made things difficult for their parents in Washington D.C. and shipped back to Austin Texas should make for interesting conversation if they follow the same path they created.

    • I thought this was classy and appropriate. In retrospect these young ladies look back and wish they had done more. The video to accompany the taped message was very thoughtful.

I don't know if I would have listened to such wise advice if I was that age and in that position.
