    • it's a white makes right, male dominated sort of thing...this may sound crazy--but working as customer service, i was hired with red(white womens') hair!
after my 25% cherokee family urged me to go back to natural dk. brown, i was called 'spick', 'immigrant', and my hours were cut, until i was finally let go. welcome to rural america

    • what?! you'd think they would dye their hair their natural color so they woun't have to do root touch up or but more boxes of dye. Do they realize having blonde hair takes money to keep up?
      maybe they should be blondes.

    • Just because an event takes place during a recession does not mean it is related to it... not everything is related to people going broke.

    • Well, me and my blonde hair and small intellect are off down to Coogee Beach. It's 37 (over 100) here, and have fun in the cool waves. Try and have fun, too.

    • i think it's just because all the smart brunette women realize not to waste money on dye jobs during the recession, while all the blondes are too dumb to realize they should cut down on spending.

ok so i am obviously a biased brunette. sue me.

    • Maybe a better explanation, if one exists, and I am blonde, so bear with me. The recession and its consequenes, would turn anyone grey, sooooooooo, it's easier to hide the grey in blonde, than hide the grey in other selections. Say, purple, for example...

    • wth.. surely the two aren't linked? people can find a statistic for anything these days. I know she did a 'survey' but just how does being blond make women feel happier? I can't believe people believe that crap about blondes having more fun.
