BBC face legal fight from Gaza residents

Two Gaza residents are threatening the BBC with legal action after the broadcaster refuses to broadcast the DEC (Disasters Emergency Committee) appeal.

In a 23-page letter sent by law firm Hickman & Rose, the headding reads "Legal challenge to the decision not to broadcast the DEC appeal", it was sent by three people (two of which, are Gaza residents).

4.5m people watched the DEC appeal on ITV1, Channel 4 and Five. The BBC received 21,000 complaints following the decision, Sky followed BBC's suit.
