Kyrgyzstan is just north of Afghanistan. Manas airbase there is a major supply and support asset for our escalating operations in Afghanistan and the Peshwar(Pakistan, kind of.) It looks like Russia is try to do to us what we did to them in the 80's in Afghanistan.
