    • I am sure they take into account drugs issued by a doctor but these are drugs to enhance their ability to play better by building up bulk. Its cheating and I do not think that every athlete uses them. these cheaters are role models for kids and by allowing them to get away without strong punishment will set a wrong example. They are only doing it because of the money involved, the bonus and the better their record the higher up on the celebrity ladder they are. If these guys were school teachers instead of athletes everyone would be screaming for their heads saying they are sending the wrong message to the kids, yet because they play baseball we excuse them. Pure bullshit. remember they are only taking them for one reason, they already have the talent, they are just greedy and selfish and should be held accountable. If you find nothing wrong in it, then when your high school son plays sports and the coach recomments steroids for building up and he dies on them, think back to your sons idols in the game and how you forgave them.

    • I imagine that most all sports players have at one time or another used steriods. It's just some got caught and some didn't. That is like the twisted judgment of our courts where if two people murder someone and one tesifies against the other they cut him a deal. Wrong to do this. How many criminals have lied against their comrades to cut a deal. That is something to think about. Just for the record if any of you have ever been really sick and the doctor gave you a prescription for Prednisone to build up your immune system GUESS WHAT-- you took steriods too.

    • they should throw out the complete record and player who used these drugs and ban them for life from baseball. Bunch of shitheads all of them. Here they probably got the best job in the world, playing a game they love and getting big bucks and yet they can't handle it with their talent alone. They should also have to pay back any bonuses and half their salary. they obtained it illegally and if their were accountants or bankers they would be called thieves.

    • Steriod use is and was just as illegal as snorting cocaine and the penalties imposed should be comparable to the penalties imposed for any illegal drug use.

Interesting that Pete Rose is banned from baseball for life for gambling but he has never been accused of cheating.

    • It is becoming increasingly difficult to believe that sports stars are not all taking performance enhancing drugs, particularly with the vast sums of money involved!

    • Shocking, Best Player of All Time, People who are unable to play fair should be removed from these major league sports, not like it was WEED that makes you maybe a little bit incoherent, what were you thinking A-ROD? Next time smoke some weed out of a Bong and you will be on the Positive Side of the Media LOL. Every sport has its’ drugies, they just don’t make headlines.

    • Here's the funny thing about this change of events, everybody was so down on Barry Bonds and now it looks as if over 100 players were tested positive in 2003. I guess there should be and asteric on every team that made it too the playoffs or anybody that won a batting title that year, you know what I'm getting at. The game, and all of pro sports should be ignored for the spoiled over paid selfish pigs they are. Paid too much compared to other hard working people around the world.

He's still lying while admitting the truth.

"I was young,I was naive, I had a lot of pressure on me ".

      Alex is still taking HGH.
IT CANNOT BE DETECTED. This is why he got along so well with Madonna, and other female bodybuilders.

    • Colour me not surprised... I reckon I will be shocked when we hear that a baseball player did not use 'performance enhancers'.

    • Of course, the one who was pointing fingers was just as guilty as those he was pointing at.

Always is the loudest voices of moral outrage are its worst offenders.
