It was only a matter of time...I've been waiting for this to start after all of the threats made during the election.

We have had a political assasination this year of the leader of the Arkansas state Democratic party and two campaign offices, Clinton and Obama's had armed violence perpatrated against them. While we may scoff at the fact that three Iraqis died in the persuit of office this year it is sad that we do not often acknowledge the risk of personal harm and dignity that exists within our own democracy. Assasination and violence are the great shame of this nation. There were assasination attempts against Clinton, Raegen was shot, Ford was shot at, Johnson was shot at, Kennedy was Assasinated, his brother Robert was Assasinated, Martin Luther King Jr. was Assasinated, Harvey Milktoast was assasinated, Linconln, Garfield, and McKinley were assasinated, John Lewis was beaten as were tens of thousands of civil rights demonstrators, Malcolm X, Medger Evers, were assasinated, and when our republic was founded more politicians shot eachother in duels than died on foreign battle fields.

We're only lucky that the people who do stuff like this are as stupid as they act.
