If his extended arm is really a metal support beam attached to the wall, how was he able to get into this position in front of an assembled audience without being detected? I don't believe in magic, but, to have pulled this off is still pretty freaking amazing, even if it isn't magic.

Unfortunately however Mr Lorbeer has not mastered the power of levitation and the gravity-defying feat is merely a stunt.
His outstretched "arm" that he uses to lean against the wall is actually a support beam that he is then harnessed to. The real arm is really tucked inside his clothes.
Cute idea though ^_^
