VSiskos
Chris Cuomo interviewed Former President Bill Clinton on Good Morning America. Clinton was asked questions regarding the economy and President Obama's actions. • I do agree with Bill Clinton being a good president... But he also had his problems in the office atleast he didn't cut people off of Medicare like me and my family i think that Obama should wake up and relize what he is doing to people in the world and how he is hurting his fellow americans....

    • Well the title is certainly misleading, but it's comforting to know that Clinton, who did some great things for the economy during his term, is supporting the Obama administration's tactics in getting us out. Most people are going to be looking for a quick fix, but like Clinton said in this clip it's not going to happen over night. Don't lose faith in Obama, he'll get us out eventually.

    • Obama is false hope!!!! The whole campaign he ran was false hope!!!!! We had nothing to base this change movement on he had no experience and was basically a street demonstrator with followers!!! Duh have you guys seen any change yet, or just taxes getting ready to go up in all states? all of you no brainers who voted for this half white guy should feel stupid for not thinking your decision through before you vote, at least 48 percent of this country knew that the hope and change was just a poly to get the less educated people to vote for the person who they think will fight for their rights ...... hahahahaha I love laughing at you retards.

Next came Bush and now the repulicans are going to get theirs from more financial manipulation, AND if you think Obama is not going to take care of his than get in touch with me I've a historic stained dress I'm selling. cya uncle Joe

I agree that the dumping of the Glass Steagall Act was a huge mistake. Now If Obama is serious about bringing back some fundamental principles into policies he would reenact the Glass Steagall Act and Go forward with the Home Owners and Bank Protection Act of 07. Yes 07. Now 09. That is if Bailout Barney and Rohatyn puppet, Pelosi, don't keep blocking it.

    • I have no use for Obama at all. BUT i dont think he should be sugar coating anything at all. I give him credit for having the balls to say its as bad as it is. I do however think he is doing it to get his spending bills through quickly.

    • The title of this post convicts you as a train liar VSiskos.

Bill Clinton never once said or suggested in this interview that President Obama should lighten up.

      Stop instigating deceit and hate.

Shame on the staff for propping this mess up in the ratings.

    • It's always a pleasure to see Bill in the News and in a one on one. I'm not sure he was actually saying "lighten up" It seems he was guite clear as to when this situation should have been addressed. Specifically, a year ago, I believe that is what he said. Let's think about that for a minute.

    • I missed it, when did Clinton tell Obama to lighten up?

He said the last thing you want to do is give people false promises, but I'd like to see him show more hope. And that was really just a footnote in the interview. The interview was mainly about Clinton agreeing with Obama.

      Change the title, it's misleading.

What do you mean? This is exactly what I expect from the current staffers. Between pushing drug legalization and being anti government, most of the crap by the staff is not only misleading but creates false axioms.

    • In this video, Bill Clinton emphatically and wholeheartedly agrees with Obama's actions in regards to the stimulus.

However, the title of this post implies that Bill Clinton disapproves of some aspect of Obama's behavior or decisions, and that's not what this clip is about at all. Clinton essentially says that it's important for Obama to be moderate in the way he discusses the economy with the american public, and simultaneously agrees with Obama's decision not to sugar-coat everything (the way Bush might have done) and give the american people false hope or false promises.
