This week, Palin’s henchmen have killed 66 wolves, using helicopters, spotter planes and aerial gunners. To make matters even worse, Palin’s Board of Game has approved the use of poison gas and deadly snares to kill defenseless wolf pups and their families in and around their dens.
Wolves are being slaughtered in record numbers. Please make an emergency donation to help us stop Palin’s killing frenzy and shine the national spotlight on her brutal massacre.
To stop the killing, we...
Supported emergency legal efforts in state court to halt or delay the helicopter assault on wolves near the Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve, near the area made famous by the 1890s Alaska Gold Rush.
Are working on Capitol Hill with our champion Congressman George Miller of California to win cosponsors for the Protect America’s Wildlife (PAW) Act to end Palin’s barbaric aerial killing and prevent programs like it from spreading to other states; and
Are raising public awareness in the media to Palin’s horrible wolf-killing programs in newspapers, on radio and television across the country.

Without wolves there would be no dogs.
Unless one believes the earth is flat, in which case all bets are off."Based upon the molecular clock studies conducted, it would seem that dogs separated from the wolf lineage approximately 100,000 years ago. Although clear evidence for fossil dogs becomes obscure beyond about 14,000 years ago, there are fossils of wolf bones in association with early humans from well beyond 100,000 years ago."
Dogs have been with us for a while wolves predate us. Some respect is due.
There is no question Palin's activities are about culling for profit.

In early 2007, Palin's administration approved an initiative to pay a $150 bounty to hunters who killed a wolf from an airplane in certain areas, hacked off the left foreleg, and brought in the appendage. Ruling that the Palin administration didn't have the authority to offer payments, a state judge quickly put a halt to them but not to the shooting of wolves from aircraft.
Detractors consider the airborne shootings a savage business, conducted under the euphemism "predator control." The airplanes appear in the winter, so the wolves show up like targets in a video game, sprinting across the white canvas below. Critics believe the practice violates the ethics of hunting, while supporters say the process is not hunting at all, but a deliberate cull.

You make it seem like Palin was the one firing the guns and setting the traps. You did not mention why the wolves were being killed so it is difficult to read this from an objective standpoint.

Palin has also been fighting to reverse a government policy protecting the polar bear. People like her must be opposed by those of us who care about America's wildlife.

Wolf slaughter is wrong. There are many people in Alaska that hate that kind of environmental degradation, but they are out numbered by the people who move to AK to exploit the resources and the people as well as the wildlife. They are greedy ignorant destroyers who will end up eliminating the very things that make Alaska great.
It is up to the rest of us to protect the envronment from the greedy ones. They will do to our country what their friends have already done to the financial system. Don't wait until its too late for that too. We might all be out of a home if we let this ignorance shape our future.
Interesting how those who most loudly profess to be followers of Christ tend to be the ones most likely to cheat, steal and kill.
