Will Tel Aviv take the US to war again?

This time there is less emphasis on fixed intelligence than on false impressions—albeit with the same goal: to advance an Israeli agenda. Though Tel Aviv’s goals for Iran are now within reach, the success of this latest operation is not yet assured.
So now comes a new twist on an old trick. First Barack Obama was persuaded by his advisers to lambast Iran for a covert nuclear site—days after it was revealed by Tehran. So already it looks to the public like yet another U.S. president is relying on flawed intelligence. When Iran promised cooperation with international inspectors, Tel Aviv quickly countered that Israel may well attack anyway. Why not? After all, the U.S. attacked Iraq. And clearly U.S. intelligence is no better now than then, right?

israels aggression is on par with if not identical to irans.
the war for independance, 6 day, and yom kippur wars were not instigated by israel.
operation cast lead wasnt a start either unless you dont consider katusha rocket attacks at civilians not a military action.how do you simultainiously recognize that hamas and hezbollah who are world recognized terrorist groups are an arm of iran but not see iranian aggression.
israel doesnt have to bait iran in. they are already in.
it is the (iranian made and distributed)katusha rockets launched by hamas killing people in sderot and ashdod. they are in they are suppliers. - 2 years ago

What actions? They haven't attacked any country in centuries!
Actually, many people hypothesize the fact that Israel's contiual threats and attacks on Hizballah and Hamas are being perpetrated as a pretext to cause Iran to enter the conflict.
No one ever talks about Israel, it's nuclear stockpile, it's aggression, the blind support of brainwashed Americans as being an existential threat to Iran.

perhaps a broader perspective would ask will irans actions drag other groups into war like hizbollah and hamas with new enemies?

The US went to war for oil, and mostly Saudi cover up conspiracists say otherwise, oh and Iranian guard Israel haters. Maybe some naive liberals too. But they tend to be quoting a Saudi or Iranian sponsored paper. Just because we (Jews) are good lawyers and make it to the white house a lot in supportive roles doesn't mean we controll anything.
Rahm Emanuel is the son of a civil rights advocate. It's just rude to insinuate that he is pro-war. His father left Israel, and never spoke about it much, at least to his clientele. But Rahm himself did service instead of being a soldier. He is practically a refusnik. His mother's son, an American liberal with a Capone attitude. - 2 years ago

LOL Rahm Emanuel a refusnik? Is that why he went and served with the IDF in the US first Gulf War?
Is his father considered a civil rights activist because he was an active member of the Irgun the Jewish terrorist gang responsible for blowing up the King David Hotel and pinning the blame on Arabs?

no matter who creates what idea, or what governments support what policy in the end the united states of america goes to war when it suites the need of the united states of america. israel goes to war when it suits the needs of israel.
if we look at facts not suppositions or theories but actual facts and historical events the united states has gone to war for or with
england
france
soviet union
japan
kuwait
south vietnam
south korea
but not once israel.
not in the war for independance
wich by the way the us govt policy during that war was that us soldiers werent even allowed on thier own to go help the jews of the region.
6 day war no involvement
yom kippur war no involvement
both intefadas no involvement
not once has israel ever once asked or utilized the united states' massive military for thier own ends. if anything our govt insures that israel's enemies are very very well armed. - 2 years ago

Rahm Emanuel is pro-war, and obviously pro-Israel and probably anti-Iran, just like the president, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Barack Obama:
John Walsh wrote that the chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), Congressman Rahm Emanuel, had worked hard to guarantee that Democratic candidates in key toss-up House races were pro-war. In this he was largely successful, because of the money he commands and the celebrity politicians who reliably respond to his call, ensuring that 20 of the 22 Democratic candidates in these districts are pro-war. So the fix is in for the coming elections.
In 2006, no matter which party controls the House, a majority will be committed to pursuing the war on Iraq--despite the fact that the Democratic rank and file and the general voting public oppose the war by large margins. (I hasten to add that this state of affairs can be reversed even after the sham election between the two War Parties.)
What are Emanuel's views on war and peace? Emanuel has just supplied the answer in the form of a scrawny book co-authored with Bruce Reed, modestly entitled: The Plan: Big Ideas for America.

The dirty on Perle:
After receiving his degree from Princeton in 1967, Richard Perle went to work for Sen. Henry "Scoop" Jackson, chair of the Senate subcommittee that oversaw the CIA's "black budget" for covert operations. In 1970, a federal wiretap found Perle discussing classified information with staff at the Israeli embassy. There is no indication he was reprimanded.
In 1980, Perle left Jackson's employ and in 1981 he was named Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Policy, a post he held through 1987. In 1983, while working for the U.S. Defense Department, Perle also took payments to represent an Israeli weapons company, but was not prosecuted.
In 1997, Perle and Bill Kristol co-founded the Project for a New American Century (PNAC), a neoconservative thinktank formed "to make the case and rally support for American global leadership". Perle was also on the Committee for the Liberation of Iraq (CLI), a "grassroots" group that lobbied for American intervention to bring about regime change in Iraq. Other members include former Congressman Newt Gingrich, former Drug Czar Barry McCaffrey, former Secretary of State George Shultz, former CIA Chief James Woolsey, and Teamsters boss James P. Hoffa
In 2001, Pres. George Bush picked Perle to chair the Defense Policy Board, which advises the Department of Defense. In 2003, The New Yorker pointed out that Perle had a conflict of interest -- with PNAC, CLI, and the Defense Policy Board, he was arguing for an invasion of Iraq, while he was simultaneously in business with Saudi Arabian partners and had connections to Trireme Partners, a computer firm that specializes in intelligence and would make a tidy profit if America invaded Iraq.
"It's all lies, from beginning to end," he said, loudly threatening to sue over the article. A month later and much more quietly, Perle resigned as Chairman of the Defense Policy Board -- but he remained a member for another year, as America invaded Iraq. Perle resigned in February 2004, to pursue other interests.

Yes they did take us to war.
Don't forget that the main architect for the War on Terror was the American educated Benjamin Netanyahu (read his prophetic Israeli policy paper “A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm), and that the architects for the Iraq war were mostly Jewish Zionists agents of Israel.
The Defense Policy Board at the time of the War on Terror hoax was headed by warmonger Richard Perle, dual citizen of Israel who was once kicked out of the US government for spying. I don't know how he got back in.
