Mother of 13 won't stop until she gets twins

A pregnant mother of 13 from Derby has vowed to keep having babies until she has twins.

Sara Foss who is due to give birth to baby 14 in April says she plans to conceive again in order to get the twins she wants.

Is 14 children too many? What do you think?

Also, the children's names are Stephen, Patrick, Malachai, Peppermint, Echo, Eli, Rogue, Frodo, Morpheus, Artemis, Blackbird, Baudelaire and nine-month-old Voorhees.

    • omg, some of those names are hideous. Voorhees? All I can think of is-is it Jason from Friday the 13th? Geez. So, she has 13 kids, is pregnant and will keep trying to twins? She sounds superficial and just a little insane. What's the big deal with twins? Yeah, they're cool but f***,she has 13 kids! Isn't this unethical or something?

    • Women with mentalities like this should be sterilised, fair enough to want twins, wouldnt mind some myself, but to keep on reproducing until you do is insane, why doesn't someone stop her child benefits and see if she still wants twins then!

    • This woman is deranged. You're supposed to have kids because you want them, not because of some self imposed, twisted, futile, and very unlikely goal.

      "...receive more than £4,200 in tax credits and family allowance each month."
      "...in a three-bedroomed council house..."
      "...spends £600 at the supermarket each week."

      A candidate for an enforced, immediate, hysterectomy.

      Do the world a favour.

      And the taxpayer.

    • If she hasn't got twins on her or in her partners family she might be in for a long wait. She's also not a candidate for fertility treatment, which can help bring twins into the family. It's a very weird obsession and she doesn't give a real reason why she wants them

      Someone needs to confiscate her ovaries until she can support what comes out of them!
      She is scrounging more money off the government every month than both myself and my partner make at our jobs! And we're not sure about having a kid because we don't know if we can afford it.

      It does seem like she ran out of ideas for good names though.

      Stephen's good, Patrick's cool, Malachai's a bit ropey, Peppermint... what the hell?

      After that it looks like she named her kids after X-Men and cool film characters. A woman with that kind of imagination and gaul *deserves* to get the twins she wants.

      i don't think i would necessarily say that continuing to have children until you have twins is a 'cause'... she obviously doesn't work so i can't help but wonder how all these children are supported. and who is able to look after 14 children, devoting enough time to each one and engaging with them and attending to all their needs as they come up?
