Part of a forthcoming ballet has been pulled by the BBC after they learnt it contained lurid & sexual scenes.

Eternal Damnation to Sancho and Sanchez was due to be shown before Christmas in a pre watershed slot.

"When we announced we were showing it, at the time we weren't fully aware of the details of the ballet and had every intention of showing all four acts," a BBC spokesman said.

"Basically, the material isn't suitable for a pre-watershed broadcast."

One of the four acts centred on a group of priests and a fictional hunchback Pope, who rapes eunuchs and pregnant nuns. There's male nudity and scenes of the deformed & overweight pontiff abusing an altar boy and garrotting a pregnant woman with rosary beads.

The ballet was performed at Sadler's Wells last month and did cause a number of people to walk out.

When the BBC broadcast the controversial Jerry Springer the Opera it received a record 63,000 complaints, so they're obviously taking no chances with this one.
