British Airways says it is exploring "all options" to help it cope with the impact of a planned 12-day strike by cabin crew over the Christmas period which is set to last from the 22nd December to the 2nd January.
The walk out is over both pay and a proposed reduction in the number of cabin crew staff working on board flights.
Whilst many are concerned about people not being able to go on their Christmas holidays, I feel that many news stories are missing a rather obvious point of people not being able to get home if they are already on holiday. Maybe I'm just biased as I'm currently in Beijing and was due to come home on the 28th December.
