British army to get new camouflage uniform. British trees to stay the same.

See the two guys in the traditional woodland and desert camo uniform in the picture above? Look pretty weird, standing there on their own with all that empty space next to them, don't they?

Well guess what... they're not alone! There's a third man protecting Queen and country right next to them and he's proudly wearing the army's new camouflage uniform.

The new Multi-Terrain Pattern (MTP) is basically a mix of the two woodland and desert kits, and is suitable for a range of different environments.

Forces in Afghanistan will start to get the new uniforms in March next year, with the whole army upgraded by 2011
