On Monday 25th January at 10pm, Current TV (Virgin 155/Sky 183) takes you deep inside Guantanamo, the most controversial jail in the world. Correspondent Adrian Baschuk is the first video journalist granted access to the camp since Obama’s pledge to close the facility, former Navy SEAL Kaj Larsen undergoes waterboarding and documentary director Will Francome meets former detainees trying to build a new life back in Britain after years spent in the notorious detention camp.

Guantanamo was clearly a mistake in terms of implementation and PR, but the concept had something. These were dangerous people who had to be locked up - many that have been released have rejoined terror cells. As for torture - if it saves lives it might be worth it on some occasions. Looking forward to seeing the films.
