The Huffington Post reports that talks between the two were put onto hold by India, after the November 2008 attacks in Mumbai.
"India blamed the attack on the Pakistan-based militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba."

With the talks no longer on hold, it is being suggested that they will start from where the previous talks left off, by discussing the main disputes like nuclear arms and the divisions in Kashmir. No dates have been set.

"The issue of counterterrorism will be raised, as well as other issues to contribute to creating an atmosphere of peace and security," the Indian official said. He did not indicate when the meeting would take place.

In Pakistan, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi welcomed the Indian talks offer, saying it was a "positive step."
