Debenhams has become the first high street retailer to use size 16 mannequins to display clothing in their stores.

The mannequins will be trialled on a range of clothes by the designer Ben De Lisi.

Most high street stores currently use size 8 or 10 mannequins despite the average clothing size worn by women in the UK being a much larger 16.
