Wayne Bridge yesterday announced his retirement from International football claiming his place in the squad had become "untenable and potentially divisive" after finding out his friend and former captain had been sleeping with the mother of his child.
Today though "friends" from the Team Terry camp have hit back claiming that Bridge is known in the dressing room as being a bit of a bottler and had done it again. Terry is also supposedly annoyed at the timing of Bridge's statement and claims he is fishing for sympathy in the press.
