*The Met police released a reort in 2007 into police investigations of murders of gay persons, stating police homophobia hampered investigations
*In Cornwall, police homophobic attitudes & practises are common place and seemingly NORMAL procedure when dealing with gay persons (FIA : In the year leading up to March 2008 over 1,200+ complaints were recorded against police officers & staff in the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary. The 3rd highest level of complaints out of the 43 UK police forces. The IPCC only knew of 933 of the complaints!)
