BBC Panorama reveals the debt for Manchester United owners Glazers is £1.1billion, with large chunks of borrowed money taken against other businesses like, "£388m ($570m) against shopping malls and £66m ($95m) against their American National Football League team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers."-BBC

Fans were already upset over the Glazer debt because of fears on how it'll hit the football club and these new revelations will probably strengthen the green and gold fan protest. Glazer spokesman states the family assets are valued at £2bn.

"The situation at Manchester United reflects the wider issue within the Premier League, where clubs like Liverpool and West Ham are struggling with huge debts"-BBC
