Flash floods have hit England's south coast with Bournemouth baring the grunt of the rains, whilst the problem is still felt far from its epicentre in Basingstoke, Southampton and the New Forest area.
Its been reported that 6 inches of water have infiltrated the shops of Bournemouth's town centre , which coincided with gas mains leaking. Both factors ultimately resorted into an evacuation of the area, not only from peoples homes, but shops, businesses etc., as the rains unexpectedly started around 1pm.
Information is being offered via Bournemouth's local mediums, such as the somewhat ironically named "Wave FM", and via Dorset's Fire and Rescue website
