Today is a day to pause and consider, not to score political points. We don’t want to re-live the fear, loss, and anger of that day, but to honor the memory of those who suffered and died, those who sacrificed their own safety to help others, and to try, truly and deeply, to forgive in our hearts those troubled souls who committed such atrocious acts.
