On Monday night, ITV1 aired a documentary called "Gaddafi and the IRA" as part of their new 'Exposure' strand, but some viewers, specificly gamers, may've spotted something wrong with one of the footage.
The footage in particular, claimed to be secret IRA footage from 1988, in fact gaming websites pointed out that it was actually from the video game 'ArmA 2'. The CEO of Bohemia Interactive (which make the game) told a gaming magazine that ITV wasn't approched to get permission to use the footage and demands some explanation from the TV network. ITV later admitted to the faked footage and apologized blaming on "an unfortunate case of human error". 1.2m viewers tuned in to watch the documentary.

Ha ha ha ha - love it, bless you gamers.
That and the BBC showing protestes in India instead of the truth from Green square, captioned as live! But it's all mistakes (and that's when they're caught)
No lies, deception, half truths or hidden agendas though - it's all unbiased reporting, so that we, the people, can make an informed decision, bless them all. - 8 months ago
