Anwar Al-Awlaki reportedly killed in Yemen airstrike December 2009

Another good one for America's Fake War on Terror.

Either the claim that Awlaki was killed last week is a lie or the claim he was killed in 2009 was a lie.

    • Is it misinformation or disinformation or noinformation or just the SOS? Is any of relevant anymore...they will say what they and do what they want until the people own it again.

    • OR , maybe they are BOTH lies . OR Maybe the guy does not exist . This is big brother we are talking about here , it doesn't have to have any basis in reality to create the feeling required of the masses by big brother .

It's the same as with Saddam. they thought they had him in the first bombing and yet they found him in his spider hole. It's not that easy during such circumstances to verify something like this unless you have ground intelligence or civilians that are reliable.

Was the lawsuit filed after 2009 ? I wish this madness made sense too , but , it doesn't have to . It is just more killing . The actual desired response is to make us afraid of our own might and deepen the fear of our enemies . Fear shuts down the questioning of some . The key to overcome fear , is curiosity and love .

      Thanks artemis6!

It's true that CNN did indeed report that Saddam Hussein was killed in 2003, but that's no excuse for the mainstream media not engaging in source verification, waiting for all of the facts to come out and honest reporting.

Besides, nearly everything we are told about this so-called "Al Qaeda" and basically anything regarding to the Middle East comes from whole cloth spun from US funded Israeli intelligence sources like Rita Katz's SITE Intel Group and MEMRI, who are proven liars.

So again, the point is that they can tell us anything and we as consumers of media have no way of knowing or even verifying if it is true or not. It's just noise.

If there were a way to get to them that did not put our men and women in harm's way. I would thoroughly agree with you. We should never have gone to war in the first place against Iraq, but you have to admit the terrorists with Afghanistan's help killed 3,000 people here for no reason. Obama is trying to extract us from this mess and it is not an easy job.Hard decisions have to be made . Someone has to make them. I'm just glad it's not me.You're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

No, it was filed last year. remember when it wasfirst reported that this man wanted to use americans to kill Americans? I'm just like the rest of you I use several sources and just hope that the truth comes out somewhere in the middle. At least I haven't found any reason to think that this administration has indulged in the skullduggery that Rumsfeld and Cheney were involved in. Have you?

The reason the war has dragged on so long is because the Pakistanis ISI has been aiding the insurgents. All of that other stuff you said is just talking points.

Nothing you say has changed my mind about why it has lasted so long. I do agree that the defense contractors and hawks have made millions on the war, but that's hardly this administration's fault.
