Former Vice President Al Gore, former Gov. Jennifer Granholm and “The Young Turks” host Cenk Uygur examine proposals made in the Iowa Republican debate that suggested tax cuts without accounting for its true impact on economic policy or job creation. “In the context of what’s going on with Occupy Wall Street and the 99 percent-1 percent debate — which has really profoundly changed the political dialogue in America — I do think that the agreed upon positions by all six of these candidates we heard tonight is squarely with the 1 percent,” Gore says. “Every single one of them is designed to benefit the wealthiest 1 percent. There’s nothing in it for the other 99.”
