Emergency services workers located a honeymooning couple stranded in one of the cabins above the water line, more than 24 hours after the Costa Cruises vessel ran aground.
The newlyweds, both in their late twenties, were helped from the half-submerged liner and taken ashore in the early hours of Sunday morning.
They were reported to be in good health, despite their ordeal.
