I love how the evangelical far right now is lecturing President Obama his fabricated remarks on caring for the poor. The truth is the so-called christians these days deplore giving and taking care of the poor. They have attacked them and the unemployed as lazy and sucking off the government teat. They support ending benefits and letting them fend for themselves and even stated they should go to the church and beg for help or just go find a job. As a catholic, I am offended on every level for the amount of contempt they have for those with the least and their undying support of the wealthy and corporations and tax breaks for them. I fault Huckabee and christian leaders for not practicing what they preach or what is in the bible. They use their influence to raise political issues from the pulpit and should have their tax exemption revoked for using their churches to rail against the poor, President Obama, and the government in general. They are now spewing their racist/bigoted to their flocks and it is ignored by the media. Huckabee is a prime example of this.
