Did listening to the State of the Union this year sound familiar?
That’s because President Obama repeated the same lines over his last four years of State of the Union addresses. Promises made regarding government “investment,” infrastructure, energy, and mortgages made and remade year after year have not produced results. America still lacks a robust economy; millions are still unemployed; and America’s debt has continued to grow.
Obama has made one promise in particular time and again: that none of his proposals would add “a single dime to the deficit.”
