Students from Emerson College spend their Spring Break doing community service in the panhandle of Florida. The creek restoration project required students to plant irises in the water to prevent flooding and filter the creek--which runs into the bay--to avoid pollution from runoff. The creek was located in Lincoln Park in Valparaiso, Florida.
