Really like the storyline concept, creative thought and artistic touch. Gets my GL for that, eventhough I agree with various comments above and think the ending and technical aspects would need to be reworked. I could see your ideas being snatched and slicked up. Your ad certainly engenders conversation.

First off let me say I really like your ad, but I would change two things.

I think it would be better to start with the asteroid coming in and hitting the ground.

I also think you should use a real person wearing the alien head and have him stand in the same place as the human when you pull back from his eye to reveal that the human has turned into the alien.

This is the only comment I've made in which I'm not being facetious.

I'm very proud of you, gentlemen. The spot is extremely fun to watch, unlike most of the others here, especially those in the highest ranks. See how the top ranked spot would like to be what yours is? Just ugly. Hopefully the people at Current and Sony are smart enough not to trust the american Idol system of blind public following.

I really like how you foreshadow as you pull into the eye, and i think the visuals showing the DNA and molecules changing inside of the eye are really cool. Maybe effects with more depth could have been used to get the idea across that he is transforming into the alien. P.S. I recognize that alien from the walkman ads from years ago. Thats freaking awesome. Great job.

Awesome shot with the dirt hitting the guys face, and the asteroid effect looked awesome.
I do agree that a more wrapped up ending would make this even better. The asteroid hitting the ground was the peak of the spot to me, and it happens really early. I think adding something more unexpected at the end would balance this out and make this pretty killer.

i'm not really feeling the above comment. I thought it was delievered perfectly and I wouldn't change a thing..

man it was a great start - really promising - but it didn't deliver in the end. i'd suggest thinking it through more and taking it somewhere more entertaining/effective.
