    • This is really good. I agree that black and white mixed with the antique film effect really catches the viewers attention. Great work. GL

    • I still can't believe that Ericsson V-CAMs are still competing in the Top Ranked section when they were all picked many many months ago. It's really misleading for people who might think that these are still in a competition. All V-CAMs from inactive completions should be archived so that they are no longer up for greenlights (and yes, that includes the ones I've made).

    • nice spot. the thing that could make it better for me is the location. the character could be standing at the front of an old building or something. also a more static camera to copy the style of silent films beyond the plug-in. the idea is simple and good. i will see your other works while im rendering here...

    • Excellent, really great use of undercrank and old timey look. Sort of reminds me of Laurel & Hardy's the Piano. If you get a chance, come on over and support my latest, Shadow Boxer link GL Getreel

    • Great, great, concept, though if you really want to be consistent with silent movies, you're going to have to ditch the zooming in and out. I think maybe a trip to the Goodwill, some makeup, and a few passer-by's could make a reshoot worth it. Plus, I couldn't tell what one of the objects was! And... try a different typeface for the titles at the end... something more fitting to silent films.

    • I love the appropriate "klunkiness" of your old-time technology. Nice balance of close-ups and longer shots too. Though, I do agree with others that the VCAM could have more impact at 30 seconds. Good job! If you have a moment, please check out my latest pod, GLAMAZONIA, and let me know what you think.

    • i disagree with abe froman, i think the disjointed wardrobe adds to the appeal. as with all commercials, however, 30 seconds is best. nice work.

    • This is a great concept with some flaws. The good stuff is the music, the old silent film feel, and that Chaplin-esque moustache. These elements give this piece the feel it is trying to achieve and is fun to watch. The not so good stuff is that the piece is 30 seconds too long. Some of the action is a little repetitive, and I think some time/money spent on a "dated" wardrobe would really be awesome. Tip of the hat for the concept though, and I am excited to see what your next one is.

    • idea is true but well troden gorund. This is however the best execution I have seen using this idea as it was done in a entertaining way and your not "combining" all three things. You dramatized the problem and then handed up the solution. The acting is also above average. You got my vote.
