    • GL...i like it overall. The car scene could have been more suspenseful, but you made up for it with the tree. That must have been a lot of work! Good job.

Check out my Sony VCAM! Thanks...

    • This was even better than the popcorn! Very cute! How long did it take you to hang all the cans in the tree?!

    • Looking good. You still can crush the time to make a TV spot of 30 secs. That way you increase your chances of beeing on TV at other channels as well. GL

    • I think the over acting works for the concept...nice "Stella" moment...it can be shorter though...a couple of suggestions...have the guy pushing her out of the way make her drop the can (cuts about 5 secs)...only show the shovel digging once (another 3-4 secs)...cut straight from the guy seeing the tree, to him on his knees, to the tree (another 6 secs)...just suggestions - GL

    • Good concept, funny, but guy way over acts anguish at "death" of can of Mountain Dew so much so that I could never see that performance on TV, also the backyard location with the trampoline is too domestic for the young guy in the "Dew tree" scene, so although its a good idea it needs a LOT of polish before it could make it on TV

    • good concept, funny, but the guy way over acts his anguish at the "death" of the can of Mountain Dew and I could never see that exact performance on TV, it's too over-the-top, plus the backyard location with the trampoline doesn't feel right for the "dew tree" scene, it's too domestic for a young guy like that, so overall, good idea, but it needs a LOTof polish for TV

    • well here is the second version. its ten seconds shorter and and tombstone is put in place to clerify the burial. also, music was added for a more dramatic effect.

      enjoy!

    • Yes... way too long. Also, I was already able to predict that a tree was going to grow as soon as he buried the can. What I would've done is stuck a cross or mini tombstone next to the 'grave' to suggest a bit of closure.
N8BALL462 does make a point about location. Whether the houses/property values are high or not, it just looks like a type of place where the residents have no problem buying case-loads of dew.
Lastly, I'm sure the Current TV compression has a lot to do with it, but the dew cans blended too well with the tree, so a quick close up would probably solve that problem.

I did like the editing (minus the feet of the camera person) and it's funny, so that's a GL

    • Clever concept. Feels like something that could work on TV. I agree with the others about the length... some seconds could definately be cut to make it move along. Sounds picky, but the location doesn't fit the story. For example, it would feel more believable if this was a guy living in student housing, eating Top Ramen or something... make it feel more like "this is the last Dew on earth". That's a beautiful house; someone with digs like that could go buy a couple of palattes of Dew. Dare to dream, though... I'm going to go bury a bottle of Chimay in my backyard. Great start. GL.

    • Funny as hell dude. I loved it. Next time try and keep the camera mans feet out of the shot when you buried the smacked can. For those non moving shot use a tripod. It helps the shot looks way smooth. Good job man.
