1952, America. The Reds are coming with another sinister plot to undermine Uncle Sam. Only one thing can stop them....a pledge of allegiance!
Better Dead than Red is a short satire aimed at fears that captivated and consumed 1950s Cold War-era America. Portrayed in the style of a propaganda news reel, subjects such as fear of communism, the birth of the pledge of allegiance, and the race for space are explored with sarcastic urgency.

Hysterical! BW makes it look really well, especially given the setting. I remember growing up and being told how bad the russians were, now look back and think how ridiculous that was. Now it's Islam. GLed from me. If you have time check out my "Lanterns of Quimbaya."
