This is a lesson in editing... tightly chopd, great angles, storybook sequencing... Really well done. Its what I call crispy and ready for TV. GL... Cause I learned some things about your culture and even some about mine while watching... and that's one of the things I love most about current.

Thank you again for giving your thoughts, insight, and suggestions to me on how I may improve. I have just uploaded another piece for an upcoming adventure in Peru. Would you mind having a look at it to give me suggestions, input, and comments. Thank you for helping me to get the voices out to speak for those who cannot. The pod is named Journey of the Run

Yeah, but where do Kippers fit in to all this? ;p I'll eat anything (more or less), and if a traditional English breakfast is anything like the Irish breakfasts I got in southwestern Ireland then I'm on board. Nothing could be worse than some of the gruel I scoffed down in Czech Republic (back when it was still Czechoslovakia) on the road in 1991. Drop me an email next time you get into NYC, we could have shown you a couple of smashing good places to visit that only the locals know. :) GL - my only caveat is to edit this down to a tight 5-6 minutes as Dan suggested. -zen

We've not spoken for sometime, but I wanted to express my gratitude for your encouragement to me through my work. You were one of the first ones here at Current to encourage me and share with me how to improve. I am grateful and am very thankful that you took time out of your schedule, and took time to share your wisdom and amazing talent. Siempre estoy en momento de gracia por tus palabras para mi. Nos vemos pronto. Take care, and continue to share what you do. Thank you.
Peace~ Let's keep speaking for those who cannot.

When I was last in America. I got an 'English breakfast'. But no baked beans!!! You can't get them anywhere! And the size of the meals out there!!! I know where to go next time I hit NY. I thought this was a very entertaining and well made video. I think you have great presenting skills also.

great, nice little film and eleni you have good presenter skills! Onlt negative if the number of jump cuts you have in your film... you should spend a little more time polishing it on the edit suites to try and get rid of those. GL

I dont dig how the food sounds. Though I recently read an article on reddit.com explaining the proper method for tea creation and its subtle art, this is very true to get the best taste. I always enjoy seeing these mini culture pockets that exist, yet are so rarely known (somewhat a positive attribute). I want to be Nicky's friend, she seems terrific. Perhaps I liked this because of all the diverse characters we meet, Id love to see more pods carrying this trend.
Good luck and feel free to check out my first vid launch, We Create.

A bit more info for anyone interested on the campaign from the Times:
A corner of Manhattan will be forever England if a group of British business people and Anglophiles get their way.
Virgin boss Sir Richard Branson, designer Sir Paul Smith and Mike Myers, the Canadian-born actor behind Austin Powers, will this week back a campaign to have a New York Street renamed Little Britain.
Nicky Perry, owner of Tea & Sympathy, a British café in Greenwich Village, is spearheading the campaign, which is also being backed by fashion company Ben Sherman and hair-product firm and salon Bumble and Bumble.
In a city famous for diversity, where Little Italy and Chinatown are destinations, and almost every nationality has a Little version of themselves, there should be a Little Britain, too, said Perry.
She opened her café 17 years ago and has since served 30m cups of tea to Anglophiles and British expats. She also owns the fish-and-chip shop next door, A Salt & Battery. Tea & Sympathy is close to the New York stores of British designers Stella McCart-ney and Alexander McQueen, and Soho House, the Manhattan outpost of the London club.
Among other famous names backing the campaign are Mischa Barton, Sandra Bernhard, Billy Connolly and Joss Stone.
I think its important for the city of New York to continue the tradition of designating certain areas of the city to celebrate various cultural traditions, said Myers. God Save the Queen.

Today Virgin together with Tea and Sympathy and some celebs, such as Joss Stone, launched a campaign to convince Mayor Bloomberg to change the name of New York's Greenwich Avenue to 'Little Britain'. This is largely due to the hub of Britishness Nicky's Tea and Sympathy - where the campaign is headquartered - has created around the area.
If you want to support them you can sign up and read more about it at www.campaignforlittlebritain.com.

I think British food gets a bad reputation too easily. Although as a student in the UK I think people here need to spend quite a lot to get something decent and thats probably the biggest difference to other countries like Portugal or Greece where it is still possible to get great tasting food for relatively cheap. For example to get a good sandwich and a coffee in the UK can be rather expensive! Or maybe because Im a student and I just resent paying what I consider to be a lot.

this is a really terrific piece. great production quality...and you doa real good job on camera....and i think it's way cool that you sought out the shop from london to new york..and once you got there the stories that unfolded about love, tracing back to england and the inception of the shop. i love the line that it about how british people have such great humor...so true. it seems like such a special place to be, and when i am by way of new york city, i will absolutely stop in for a cup of tea...

A. Salt & Battery is, of course, NY's only source for the wondrous deep-fried Mars bar (trust me, what sounds like Hell tastes like a religious experience), but I think the detour there is part of what makes the piece run on too long. I'd concentrate on the Tea & Sympathy shops and maybe trim those interviews a little bit too -- I think this piece actually supports about 5 - 6 mins, max. But the report is good and the interviews are great, so GL.

I love the chatter about the food and the football. Great stuff.
