Longitude's work in Ghana starts with Meshach Bondzie who began his non-profit secretarial school called PROFESA in Abeka, Ghana in 2000 because too many young adults in his community were forced to drop out of high school due to the rising cost of school fees.
LONGITUDE is a non-profit organization based in Providence, Rhode Island, devoted to supporting the work of PROFESA and thereby improving the lives of their clients. We are dedicated to the work of these leaders of educational and human rights initiatives in the hopes of achieving change from within the community.

Considering the professional level of this production, and the look and feel you applied in all aspects of it, this has definitely turned into a very strong voice for this organization, which very likely could be spread out in film festivals and such. The message of coming together for the benefit of others is definitely worth to be shared with very large audiences. We definitely need more of those positive takes on life out there.
I am also trying to share a positive message with my work, which has to do with the preservation and conservation of the natural world around us. It would mean a lot to me to get your critique on it. Please take a look at my pod when you have a minute. Thanks!

Thanks for the encouraging words. My ascent was methodical, but it's all about putting out something some people will find interesting and making sure you make your rounds here daily. It may take a minute, but keep giving your honest critique and not just a, "Looks good...check out my pod", and people notice you. With that, I wish you good luck. Great images, creative shots, good montage in the beginning--well done! It wasn't quite clear exactly how the project is related to the US organization though. I'd also have liked to have seen more interviews with other people. The images of the old typewriters were incredible though. Like that one, really all the shots were well thought out in terms of lighting, angles, etc.

Nice piece. I would have liked a little bit of explaining in the begining where we are what were doing who this guy were talking to. I know you explain that in the description. But I think a bit needs to be in the pod, you could put text over the intro bit showing the kids, doesn't need to be a lot, I might have missed it with his accent. I thought it was a well shot piece, I liked the interviewe detication. I wouldn't have minded listening to a students point of view, but it is still strong with out it.
